LightCheck, the lighting design consulting app was officially launched in Ho Chi Minh City on October 5th, 2016. This was the first “made in Vietnam” app developed by the expert engineers from Dien Quang Lamp Joint Stock Company to help its customers with solutions to standardize lighting sources in their living environment. Especially, this app was totally free on desktops and iOS-based devices (Ipads and Iphones).

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Van Khoa - Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City said that “Mastering and applying modern production technology is one of the most important factor to help “made in Vietnam” products succeed in the local market and the international playground. I highly appreciate Dien Quang – the first-ever Vietnamese company who successfully developed this lighting design consulting app”.

“I expect that Dien Quang should continue these results to keep their position as the flagship company of Ho Chi Minh City in the future”, Mr. Le Van Khoa said.
Mr. Ho Quynh Hung - Chairman and CEO of Dien Quang Lamp JSC said “Beside its normal feature of checking brightness, this app surpasses current similar apps on the marketplace due to owning quite a few features such as: calculating the quantity of lamps needed to ensure the optimal light amount for each individual space (offices, living rooms, kitchens, etc); calculating the electrical energy and the saving amount when investing in LED lamps; comparing the efficiency of investments between traditional lamps and LED lamps, calculating payback time, etc. In the near future, Dien Quang is going to develop another version for Android-run smart phones and add an integrated feature of smart control for LED lamps.
Mr. Ho Quynh Hung - Chairman and CEO of Dien Quang Lamp Joint Stock Company was delivering his speech at the press conference.On this occasion, Dien Quang also officially operated its 5th production line under Japanese technology worth 30 billion Vietnam dongs, raising its production capacity to 30 million products per year in order to meet the rising demand of LED lamps. This is also a stepping stone in the plan to raise its capacity to 70 million products per year by 2017 - At that time, Dien Quang’s new hi-tech lighting factory worth about 600 billion dongs will be on operation.
